Psychologist's death due to AstraZeneca Covid vaccine reaction "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The death of a psychologist after his Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab was due to "unintended complications of the vaccine", an inquest has ruled. Stephen Wright, an NHS employee in south-east London, died 10 days after his first dose in January 2021, senior coroner Andrew Harris found. Dr Wright, 32, suffered a blood clot to the brain after receiving the vaccine. His wife Charlotte has been trying to get the "natural causes" wording on her husband's death certificate changed. She is pursuing legal action against the pharmaceutical company. At London Inner South Coroner's Court, Mr Harris described it as a "very unusual and deeply tragic case". Dr Wright suffered from a combination of a brainstem infarction, bleed on the brain and "vaccine-induced thrombosis", the inquest heard. His condition rapidly worsened, but the nature of the bleed meant he was unfit for surgery. After the inquest, Mrs Wright ... said: "It was made clear that Stephen was [previously] fit and healthy and that his death was by vaccination of AstraZeneca. For us, it allows us to be able to continue our litigation against AstraZeneca. This is the written proof." Speaking about the coroner's ruling, mother-of-two Charlotte Wright said: "It provides relief but it doesn't provide closure. I think we're only going to get that when we have an answer from AstraZeneca and the government." From May 2021, the AZ jab was no longer offered to adults under 40 after it became clear the vaccine carried [a] risk of blood clots which could be fatal.

Note: Dr. Wright's death is one of many tragedies related to the COVID-19 vaccine, as revealed in a powerful documentary that follows the lives of people significantly harmed by the vaccine, yet were discredited and abandoned by the medical system and our media systems. A recent analysis report estimates that in 2022 alone, out of 148 million people, the mass COVID-19 inoculations injured 26.6 million, disabled 1.36 million, and caused 300,000 excess deaths, with an estimated economic cost of nearly $150 billion. Clearview AI scraped 30 billion images from Facebook and other social media sites and gave them to cops: it puts everyone into a 'perpetual police line-up' "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

A controversial facial recognition database, used by police departments across the nation, was built in part with 30 billion photos the company scraped from Facebook and other social media users without their permission. The company, Clearview AI, boasts of its potential for identifying rioters at the January 6 attack on the Capitol, saving children being abused or exploited, and helping exonerate people wrongfully accused of crimes. But critics point to privacy violations and wrongful arrests fueled by faulty identifications made by facial recognition, including cases in Detroit and New Orleans, as cause for concern over the technology. Once a photo has been scraped by Clearview AI, biometric face prints are made and cross-referenced in the database, tying the individuals to their social media profiles and other identifying information forever and people in the photos have little recourse to try to remove themselves. CNN reported Clearview AI last year claimed the company's clients include "more than 3,100 US agencies, including the FBI and Department of Homeland Security." BBC reported Miami Police acknowledged they use the technology for all kinds of crimes, from shoplifting to murder. The risk of being included in what is functionally a "perpetual police line-up" applies to everyone, including people who think they have nothing to hide, [said] Matthew Guariglia, a senior policy analyst for the international non-profit digital rights group Electronic Frontier Fund.

Georgia National Guard Will Use Phone Location Tracking to Recruit High School Children "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The Georgia Army National Guard plans to combine two deeply controversial practices military recruiting at schools and location-based phone surveillance to persuade teens to enlist, according to contract documents reviewed by The Intercept. The federal contract materials outline plans by the Georgia Army National Guard to geofence 67 different public high schools throughout the state, targeting phones found within a one-mile boundary of their campuses with recruiting advertisements "with the intent of generating qualified leads of potential applicants for enlistment while also raising awareness of the Georgia Army National Guard." Geofencing refers generally to the practice of drawing a virtual border around a real-world area. The ad campaign will make use of a variety of surveillance advertising techniques, including capturing the unique device IDs of student phones, tracking pixels, and IP address tracking. It will also plaster recruiting solicitations across Instagram, Snapchat, streaming television, and music apps. The campaign plans not only call for broadcasting recruitment ads to kids at school, but also for pro-Guard ads to follow these students around as they continue using the internet and other apps, a practice known as retargeting. While the state's plan specifies targeting only high school juniors and seniors ages 17 and above, demographic ad targeting is known to be error prone, and experts told The Intercept it's possible the recruiting messages could reach the phones of younger children.

Johns Hopkins study shows lockdowns only reduced COVID-19 death rate by .2% "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Lockdowns during the first COVID-19 wave in the spring of 2020 only reduced COVID-19 mortality by .2% in the U.S. and Europe, according to a Johns Hopkins University meta-analysis of several studies. "While this meta-analysis concludes that lockdowns have had little to no public health effects, they have imposed enormous economic and social costs where they have been adopted," the researchers wrote. "In consequence, lockdown policies are ill-founded and should be rejected as a pandemic policy instrument." The researchers Johns Hopkins University economics professor Steve Hanke, Lund University economics professor Lars Jonung, and special advisor at Copenhagen's Center for Political Studies Jonas Herby analyzed the effects of lockdown measures such as school shutdowns, business closures, and mask mandates on COVID-19 deaths. "We find little to no evidence that mandated lockdowns in Europe and the United States had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality rates," the researchers wrote. The researchers also examined shelter-in-place orders, finding that they reduced COVID-19 mortality by 2.9%. Studies that looked at only shelter-in-place orders found they reduced COVID-19 mortality by 5.1%, but studies that looked at shelter-in-place orders along with other lockdown measures found that shelter-in-place orders actually increased COVID-19 mortality by 2.8%. The researchers concluded that limiting gatherings may have actually increased COVID-19 mortality.

Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19 "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Lockdowns in the U.S. and Europe had little or no impact in reducing deaths from COVID-19, according to a new analysis by researchers at Johns Hopkins University. The lockdowns during the early phase of the pandemic in 2020 reduced COVID-19 mortality by about 0.2%, said the broad review of multiple scientific studies. "We find no evidence that lockdowns, school closures, border closures, and limiting gatherings have had a noticeable effect on COVID-19 mortality," the researchers wrote. But the research paper said lockdowns did have "devastating effects" on the economy and contributed to numerous social ills. "They have contributed to reducing economic activity, raising unemployment, reducing schooling, causing political unrest, contributing to domestic violence, and undermining liberal democracy," the report said. "Such a standard benefit-cost calculation leads to a strong conclusion: lockdowns should be rejected out of hand as a pandemic policy instrument," the paper concluded. Early on, many states and 186 countries imposed bans on work, socialization, in-person schooling, travel and other restrictions to limit the spread of the disease, citing recommendations by top health care experts. Researchers at the Imperial College London, for example, predicted that such steps could reduce death rates by up to 98%. That never happened, according to the new study by researchers Steve Hanke, Jonas Herby, and Lars Jonung at Johns Hopkins.

Possible links between Covid shots and tinnitus emerge "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Thousands of people say they've developed tinnitus after they were vaccinated against Covid. Shaowen Bao, an associate professor in the physiology department of the College of Medicine at the University of Arizona, Tucson, believes that ongoing inflammation, especially in the brain or spinal cord, may be to blame. Bao, a longtime tinnitus sufferer and a representative of the American Tinnitus Association's scientific advisory board, has studied tinnitus for more than a decade. A Facebook group of people who developed tinnitus after getting a Covid vaccine convinced Bao to look into the possible link. One man told Bao that he couldn't hear the car radio over the noise in his head while driving. Along with ringing in their ears, participants reported a range of other symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, vertigo, ear pain, anxiety and depression. Significantly more people first developed tinnitus after the first dose of the vaccine, compared with the second. This suggests "that the vaccine is interacting with pre-existing risk factors for tinnitus. If you have the risk factor, you will probably get it from the first dose," Bao said. As of Sunday, at least 16,183 people had filed complaints with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that they'd developed tinnitus, or ringing in their ears, after receiving a Covid vaccine. [Vaccine expert Dr. Gregory] Poland, who was stricken with tinnitus after he received his Covid vaccines two years ago, suggested that the CDC remains "unconcerned" about these reports of tinnitus.

As Drug Crisis Mounted, Sacklers Gave Millions to Group That Advises on Opioids "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

For the past decade, the White House and Congress have relied on the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, a renowned advisory group, to help shape the federal response to the opioid crisis, whether by convening expert panels or delivering policy recommendations and reports. Yet officials with the National Academies have kept quiet about one thing: their decision to accept roughly $19 million in donations from members of the Sackler family, the owners of Purdue Pharma, the maker of the drug OxyContin that is notorious for fueling the opioid epidemic. The opioid crisis has led to hundreds of thousands of overdose deaths, spawned lawsuits and forced other institutions to publicly distance themselves from Sackler money or to acknowledge potential conflicts of interest from ties to Purdue Pharma. The National Academies has largely avoided such scrutiny as it continues to advise the government on painkillers. Institutions that more publicly examined their use of Sackler donations include Tufts University, which released a review of possible conflicts of interest related to pain research education funded by Purdue Pharma. Concerns noted in the report included a senior Purdue executive's delivering lectures to students each semester. The World Health Organization in 2019 retracted two guidance documents on opioid policy after lawmakers aired concerns about ties to opioid makers, including a Purdue subsidiary, among report authors and funders.

TikTok: Chinese "Trojan Horse" is Run By State Department Officials "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

A MintPress News investigation has found dozens of ex-U.S. State Department officials working in key positions at TikTok. Many more individuals with backgrounds in the FBI, CIA and other departments of the national security state also hold influential posts at the social media giant, affecting the content that over one billion users see. The influx of State Department officials into TikTok's upper ranks is a consequence of "Project Texas," an initiative the company began in 2020 in the hopes of avoiding being banned altogether in the United States. During his time in office, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo led the charge to shut the platform down, frequently labeling it a "spying app" and a "propaganda tool for the Chinese Communist Party." It was widely reported that the U.S. government had forced the sale of TikTok to Walmart and then Microsoft. But in late 2020, as Project Texas began, those deals mysteriously fell through, and the rhetoric about the dangers of TikTok from officials evaporated. Project Texas is a $1.5 billion security operation to move the company's data to Austin. In doing so, it announced that it was partnering with tech giant Oracle, a corporation that, as MintPress has reported on, is the CIA in all but name. Evidently, Project Texas also secretly included hiring all manner of U.S. national security state personnel to oversee the company's operations and not just from the State Department. Virtually every branch of the national security state is present at TikTok.

"IndyWatch Feed Spiritual" "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Dr. Peter Gtzsche is a well known Danish physician with four decades of research experience, publishing 97 papers in the "big five" (BMJ, Lancet, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, and New England Journal of Medicine) and 19 Cochrane reviews. He is a co-founder of the Cochrane Collaboration. Gtzsche, along with ... Maryanne Demasi, PhD, have published a new paper titled "Serious harms of the COVID-19 Vaccines: A Systematic Review." It's been a task for academics to look into this phenomenon given the fact that vaccine manufacturers and drug regulators never allowed independent researchers to examine the raw trial data, forcing transparency advocates to sue the FDA for access to the documents. The adenovirus vector vaccines increased the risk of venous thrombosis and thrombocytopenia. (Authorities have responded by suspending the use of AstraZeneca's vaccine across many European countries, and in the US, regulators have advised restricted use of Janssen's vaccine). The mRNA-based vaccines increased the risk of myocarditis, with a mortality of about 1-2 per 200 cases. It was more common in younger males. We found evidence of serious neurological harms, including Bell's Palsy, Guillain-Barr syndrome, myasthenic disorder and stroke, which are likely due to an autoimmune reaction from mRNA and adenoviral vector vaccines. Severe harms, i.e. those that prevent daily activities, were underreported in the randomized trials.

Reassessing Technology for Time-Warp Space Travel "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

A 17-year-old boy ... received the Air Force's highest science award in the 1960s. This young man had the audacity and guts to build and test a new and unusual rocket. The boy's name was David Adair, and the engine he built was a nuclear-fusion electromagnetic containment engine. This rocket was tested successfully and had an eventful landing in that land beyond lands that doesn't exist, the famous Area 51. This vehicle had the capability of achieving light speed and, according to the builder, was capable of exceeding light speed with capabilities to propel an interstellar ship to the stars. Where did David Adair, now head of Intersect Inc. in Atlanta, get the design for this engine? As he tells it, directly from NASA. The organization evidently had 18 engine designs, and guess what? Only two were solid- or liquid-propelled rocket engines. This was in the 1960s. I wonder what happened to the rest of those engine types in the past 30 years. I also wonder what type of engines have been and are being tested at the old Rocketdyne facility in the Santa Susana Mountains above Simi Valley. One might ask if the massive class-action lawsuit against Rocketdyne, which alleges contamination of the nuclear type, has any relationship to the engines that were developed and continue to be developed today. If we look at some of these modern concepts and then consider the possibility of extraterrestrial visitation, it doesn't seem quite so impossible.

'Bees are sentient': inside the stunning brains of nature's hardest workers "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

When Stephen Buchmann finds a wayward bee on a window inside his Tucson, Arizona, home, he goes to great lengths to capture and release it unharmed. This March, Buchmann released a book that unpacks just how varied and powerful a bee's mind really is. The book, What a Bee Knows: Exploring the Thoughts, Memories and Personalities of Bees, draws from his own research and dozens of other studies to paint a remarkable picture of bee behavior and psychology. It argues that bees can demonstrate sophisticated emotions resembling optimism, frustration, playfulness and fear, traits more commonly associated with mammals. Experiments have shown bees can experience PTSD-like symptoms, recognize different human faces, process long-term memories while sleeping, and maybe even dream. Approximately one-third of the American diet, including many fruits, vegetables and nuts, relies on bees for pollination. In the past, bee research has focused on their role in crop pollination, but the work being pioneered by Buchmann and his contemporaries could force an ethical reckoning with how the animals are treated. Can large-scale agriculture and scientific research continue without causing bees to suffer, and is the dominant western culture even capable of accepting that the tiniest of creatures have feelings, too? Buchmann hopes an ethical shift will happen as details about the emotional lives of invertebrates especially bees are shared with the public.

Magnetic Crystals, Guides for Animals, Found in Humans "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

An intriguing claim that human brain cells possess crystals of a highly magnetic mineral known as magnetite was described today by Dr. Joseph Kirschvink, a professor at the California Institute of Technology. The 38-year-old geobiologist said he believed that magnetite crystals enabled animals from bees to whales to navigate by using the earth's magnetic field. He said he doubted that they supported any sensory capability in humans, although he suspected that they might account for the possible influence of strong electromagnetic fields on human health. That magnetite, one of the hardest metals on earth, is synthesized by the human brain "is sure to astound most scientists," Dr. Kirschvink said, but what it is doing there is a "total mystery." It might be a vestige from evolution and serve no purpose, he said. Or it could play a role in biology, explaining why electromagnetic fields have been associated with brain cancer and leukemia and why certain odd blips, called spin echoes, show up on magnetic resonance images of the brain. Each human brain on average contains seven billion particles of magnetite, weighing a total of one-millionth of an ounce. Magnetite interacts over a million times more strongly with external magnetic fields than any other biological material, Dr. Kirschvink said, including the iron in red blood cells. If only one cell in a million contains magnetite, he said, magnetic fields could exert an effect on the tissue.

Mushrooms communicate with each other using up to 50 'words', scientist claims "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Mathematical analysis of the electrical signals fungi seemingly send to one another has identified patterns that bear a striking structural similarity to human speech. Previous research has suggested that fungi conduct electrical impulses through long, underground filamentous structures called hyphae similar to how nerve cells transmit information in humans. It has even shown that the firing rate of these impulses increases when the hyphae of wood-digesting fungi come into contact with wooden blocks, raising the possibility that fungi use this electrical "language" to share information about food or injury with distant parts of themselves, or with hyphae-connected partners such as trees. Prof Andrew Adamatzky at the University of the West of England's unconventional computing laboratory in Bristol analysed the patterns of electrical spikes generated by four species of fungi enoki, split gill, ghost and caterpillar fungi. The research, published in Royal Society Open Science, found that these spikes often clustered into trains of activity, resembling vocabularies of up to 50 words, and that the distribution of these "fungal word lengths" closely matched those of human languages. The most likely reasons for these waves of electrical activity are to maintain the fungi's integrity analogous to wolves howling to maintain the integrity of the pack or to report newly discovered sources of attractants and repellants to other parts of their mycelia, Adamtzky suggested.

Shiba Inu Community Destroys 3.26 Billion SHIB in April Amid Price Decline "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Shibburn reports that over 3.26 billion Shiba Inu tokens were burned in April 2023 across 125 transactions. These figures are lower than the total SHIB burns in March 2023, which was 6.78 billion SHIB tokens burned through 540 transactions.

The SHIB burn process involves sending Shiba Inu (SHIB) tokens to an address known as a burn address. This address is a designated address created to hold the tokens to be burned permanently.

The Shiba Inu community carried out these burn transactions to reduce the total supply of SHIB in circulation. Notably, a tokens scarcity sees demand higher than supply leading to a boost in price. Despite the high number of token burns, SHIBs price is still declining.

Koyo Retains Top SHIB Burner Status From March 2023

Koyo (KYO) retains its top SHIB burner status for a second consecutive month burning a whopping 2.59 billion tokens. It burnt 6.15 billion SHIB tokens in March 2023 through multiple transactions.

The largest of its burn transactions in March was a transfer of 924.15 million SHIB to the dead wallet on March 17. Also, Koyo burned another 794.85 million tokens on March 28.

Koyo continued its aggressive burn rate in April 2023, sending 1.10 billion SHIB to the dead wallet on April 9. Also, Koyo followed up with another massive burn event on April 14, burning 1.49 billion SHIB tokens.

However, the burns didnt affect Shiba Inus value as the tokens price is still down by over 2% in the last 24 hours.

The current price slump could be a temporary pullback due to the recent market downtrend. One thing that could change the trajectory of the price is the Shibarium upgrade, which is yet to be announced.

Shiba Archives said a top SHIB developer claimed the Shibarium upgrade would be here before May. However, the developer did not specify the year or give further information.

Notably, some SHIB community members reacted to the reduced burn rates in April 2023. A Twitter user, Macguy, stated that the developers dont want to listen to the SHIB communitys calls for more burns. He believes the burns are slow and dragged on purpose...

AVAX Smart Contracts Hit 6-Month High What This Means For Its Price "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

AVAX has been expanding its reach in various areas over the past few months, but one aspect that has seen tremendous growth is its smart contract deployment.

With this significant milestone, many investors and traders alike are speculating whether this development could be the catalyst that propels the Avalanche Network native tokens price to new heights.

Will this newfound growth in smart contracts lead to a surge in AVAXs value?

Contract Deployment Spike Could Boost AVAX Adoption

According to the latest CoinMarketCap data, Avalanche (AVAX) has experienced a minor 2.04% dip in its price over the last 24 hours, but still remains relatively steady at $17.04.

Despite this slight setback, data from Artemis reveals that the network has witnessed a significant spike in contract deployment, which can be a positive indicator for the protocols usage and adoption.

The increase in the number of smart contracts deployed on the Avalanche network suggests that more developers are building dApps and exploring the potential of the platform.

As the number of dApps on the network grows, it can lead to a wider range of use cases for the protocol, attracting more users and projects. This increased adoption and usage can ultimately drive up demand for AVAX.

If the trend of contract de...

  • According to a new Swedish study, men with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities) also have an increased risk of testicular cancer or seminoma. This research focused on patients with testicular cancer and compared them to men without the disease. The authors used medical register data to investigate if psychiatric diagnoses and neurodevelopmental disorders before cancer diagnosis were more common in patients with testicular cancer than in the nonaffected control group. The study did not find an increased risk of testicular cancer in patients with a psychiatric diagnosis. However, men with developmental disorders saw a significant increase in the risk of the seminoma type of testicular cancer.
  • New research indicates a bidirectional relationship between gastrointestinal problems and internalizing symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal) in children and teens with autism. The team behind this study analyzed data collected from parental reports of individuals with ASD under the age of 18 that also suffered from gastrointestinal issues. The authors propose that stress signals from the brain can alter the release of neurotransmitters like serotonin and norepinephrine in the gut, which control gastrointestinal motility. The study suggests that stress can impact the balance of bacteria living in the gut, altering gastrointestinal functioning. When this happens, the gut then sends signals back to the brain that may lead to feelings of anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal.

Solana (SOL) Retests Multi-Month Trend Line, Bulls Prevailing Again? "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Sunday nights crypto market-wide correction has once again sent the Solana price down to a level that is crucial for price action in the coming weeks. SOL has been forming an ascending trend line on the 1-day chart since late December last year, which could lead the price back into bullish territory, as NewsBTC reported.

Already in the last few days, the Solana price had tested the trend line (black) before a decent bounce to the upside took place. However, yesterdays price action pushed SOL back to the trendline. However, as the 4-hour chart shows, SOL has shown strength and remained above the trendline.

Solana price SOL USD

The retracement has also caused Solanas Relative Strength Index (RSI) to reset on the 4-hour chart. With the RSI near the overbought zone at 68, there has now been a healthy pullback to 41. Thus, the 4-hour chart continues to look bullish.

A look at the 1-hour chart continues to show a similarly strong picture. For SOLs bulls, today is all about closing above the $22 level to stay above the trendline. If successful, the bulls can once again tackle resistance at $22.78 before the big challenge: the 200-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) (blue).

23.9% of Adolescents with Autism Report a Lifetime Filled with Suicidal Thoughts "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Only 6.9% of Neurotypical Youth Experience the Same Thoughts and Behaviors

Researchers from Vanderbilt University recently set out to measure suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STBs) and nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) in adolescents with autism and compared those measurements to neurotypical adolescents. Unlike previous research that used single-item questionnaires that were either parent- or self-reported, this current research relied upon a clinician-rated measure of suicide risk that had not been tested with adolescents with autism. The current study utilized the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale to assess STBs and NSSI in a community sample of 239 early adolescents (10-13.9 years old). The sample included 138 adolescents diagnosed with autism and 101 neurotypical subjects. The researchers analyzed diagnostic (autistic vs. non-autistic) and sex-based (male vs. female) differences and consistency in reporting across self- and clinician-rated measures. Findings showed that more adolescents with autism (33 of 138, 23.9%) reported lifetime STBs and NSSI than neurotypical adolescents (7 of 101, 6.9%). Notably, they did not find any sex-based differences. The authors discovered that while most neurotypical youth were consistent in their reporting of suicidal thoughts on self- and clinician-rated measures, nearly one in five adolescents on the spectrum disclosed suicidal thoughts on a self-report measure but not to a psychiatrist. Ultimately the Vanderbilt researchers suggested that autism diagnostic status, but not sex, presents a significant risk for STBs and NSSI in early adolescents. They also found the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale to be a valuable measure of suicide risk for some adolescents on the spectrum but warn that it may not detect all adolescents with autism experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Preschoolers Common Ear, Nose, and Throat Infections Tied to Higher ASD Risk "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Snoring, Mouth Breathing, Reduced Hearing and Otitis Media with Effusion Also Connected to Autism

A new British study revealed that preschoolers with common ear, nose, and throat (ENT) infections could be at an increased risk of autism or were more likely to exhibit high levels of autistic traits. This research also discovered that breathing through the mouth, snoring, ear pulling or poking, reddened and sore ears, worse hearing during a cold, and rarely listening were also ENT symptoms associated with a diagnosis of autism. The current study relied on data from 10,000 young children that were closely monitored during their first four years of life. Their mothers completed three questionnaires when their children were 18, 30, and 42 months old. These questionnaires were designed to record the frequency of nine different signs and symptoms relating to the ear, nose, and throat, along with hearing problems. The mothers also completed a second set of three questionnaires when their children were just over 3, almost 6, and 9 years old. These questionnaires examined speech coherence, social and communication issues, repetitive and abnormal behaviors, and sociability. An autism diagnosis was confirmed for this study by either educational records, parental feedback, or other sources. Results showed that children displaying high autistic trait scores at 30 months had more ENT signs. Interestingly, this study also found that children with discharge from their ears were more than three times as likely to have autism. Children with impaired hearing during a cold were more than twice as likely to be on the spectrum. Lastly, children who failed to react to nearby noise were more than six times as likely to have autism. The authors ended their study by highlighting a need for the identification and management of ENT conditions in children with autism. They also propose that ENT conditions may point to causal mechanisms of the disorder.

Where Did All The People Go? Mobile Phone Data Shows That Cities Are Slower Post Scamdemic "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

This article was originally published by Ethan Huff at Natural News under the title: Mobile Phone Data Shows That Post-Pandemic Cities Like San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston are MUCH Less Busy Where Did The People Go?

The downtowns of many American cities have become ghost towns, thanks to the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). A new analysis shows that downtown activity in places like San Francisco, Chicago, and Boston has plummeted ever since the scamdemic this is according to mobile phone data.

According to data collected by the University of Toronto School of Cities, as of the fall of 2022, many major downtown population centers are much less busy than they were prior to covid.

Los Angeles, for instance, gained back only two-thirds of its former life, as measured by cell phone activity and this is one of the better comebacks. Other downtowns like Chicago, Vancouver in British Columbia, Seattle, and San Francisco have barely recovered half of their pre-pandemic activity.

The lull also affects boomtowns of form years like Denver, Atlanta, and Houston, Statista reported.

(Related: Some estimates suggest that as many as one billion people died as a result of covid and the vaccines.)

Are American cities dying because PEOPLE are dying, or is everyone just staying home these days?

It all started, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, with workers who continued to work from home long after the lockdowns ended. The lockdowns, it turns out, resulted in an entirely new stay-at-home work paradigm for many that will continue into the future.

The trend towards working remotely only partially explains the downfall of American cities and especially their downtowns, though. How does a city like Seattle lose half of its activity in a matter of three years?

We know that many people fled left-wing cities like Seattle and San Francisco after the George Floyd riots tore them to pieces, leaving behind devastation in the form of empty buildings, tent cities, and a growing homeless population.

But what about Atlanta and Houston? These two boomtowns lost an incredible amount of downtown activity as well, despite an influx of newcomers who fled there from other states during or after the plandemic.

Then we have failing cities like Po...

Internet Computer (ICP) Social Dominance Hits 23-Month High, Top In? "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Data shows the Internet Computer (ICP) social dominance has hit a 23-month high, a sign that a local top may be here for the cryptocurrency.

Internet Computer Investors Are Showing Signs Of Euphoria

According to data from the on-chain analytics firm Santiment, a large number of investors are talking about ICP following its recent bullish momentum. A relevant indicator here is the social volume, which measures the total number of social media text documents that contain mentions of a given asset.

The text documents here refer to a collection of data assembled by Santiment that includes posts and messages from social media websites like Reddit, Telegram, and Twitter.

This indicator only gauges the unique mentions of the asset in question, meaning that even if a forum post includes the term several times, its contribution towards the social volume still remains one unit.

Now, social dominance is a metric that compares the social volume of the given cryptocurrency with that of the top 100 assets (by market cap) combined. Here, the coin of interest is Internet Computer, so what this metric tells is how much of the discussion on the Internet related to cryptocurrencies, in general, includes the topic of ICP.

Here is a chart that shows the trend in the ICP social dominance over the last year:

Internet Computer ICP Social Dominance

As shown in the above graph, the Internet Computer social dominance has observed a very sharp spike recently as the price of the asset has shown some bullish momentum.

This latest uptrend in the assets value has been quite extraordinary when compared to the rest of the market, as most of the cryptocurrencies have only shown a flat movement or a decline in the same period.

Rapid upwards momentum like this can bring a lot of eyes toward an asset, and so, discussions about it naturally follow on social media. Because of this reason, its not unexpected that the ICP social dominance has shot up during this period of bullish divergence from the rest of the sector.

From the chart, its visible that the metric saw a large spike of similar scale only a week or so before this latest surge, and this spike too occurred as Internet Computer enjoyed some rapid rise.

Shortly after this previous spike in social dominance took place, however, the...

Ordinals Are An Attack On El Salvadors Bitcoin Mission "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Support for a government-supported Ordinal collection from El Salvador demonstrates misunderstanding of what Bitcoin is really for.

This is an opinion editorial by Jaime Garca, a Salvadoran-Canadian Bitcoiner and co-host of Global Bitcoin Fest.

The hype around Bitcoin NFTs, made possible through inscriptions that use the Ordinal protocol, is undeniable. Trader and art dealer Steven Hay has even suggested that the government of El Salvador release an official Ordinal art collection to potentially raise money to fund its proposed Bitcoin City or otherwise accelerate Bitcoin adoption.

Unfortunately, this suggestion seems to lack an on-the-ground Salvadoran perspective and, in my view, is a blatant attack on El Salvadors Bitcoin objectives.

El Salvador turned to Bitcoin because of the qualities that make it sovereign money, one that is not beholden to foreign powers or organizations. While a couple of the leading value propositions for using Bitcoin in El Salvador are to attract private, foreign investment and to spur tourism, the promise of hard money that is unconfiscatable, uncensorable and resistant to manipulation is why El Salvador made bitcoin legal tender.

However, Ordinals do not provide any of the hard money benefits of Bitcoin.

NFTs On Bitcoin Are As Bad As NFTs Elsewhere

The Bitcoin community has seen recent, vivid examples demonstrating that NFTs are bad investments.

For example, a Malaysian investor who bought Jack Dorseys first tweet NFT for $2.5 million struggled to find bids when he later tried to sell it. Even El Salvador President Nayib Bukele appeared to recognize the lack of real value in NFTs as he auctioned his tweet announcing the countrys Bitcoin Law approval in its legislative assembly the NFT was never sold and Bukele did not pursue the endeavor any further.

Numerous maximalists and Salvadorans have been discouraging Bitcoin NFTs because they believe that folks who get rug-pulled could suffer significant financial harm. For many of these critics, defending Bitcoins social layer and calling out potential scams is essential to k....

Why I dont believe there ever was a Covid virus "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

I've grown increasingly frustrated about the way debate is controlled around the topic of origins of the alleged novel virus, SARS-CoV-2, and I have come to disbelieve its ever been in circulation, causing massive scale illness and death.

Concerningly, almost no one will entertain this possibility, despite the fact that molecular biology is the easiest discipline in which to cheat. Thats because you really cannot do it without computers, and sequencing requires complex algorithms and, importantly, assumptions. Tweaking algorithms and assumptions, you can hugely alter the conclusions. This raises the question of why there is such an emphasis on the media storm around Fauci, Wuhan and a possible lab escape. After all, the perpetrators have significant control over the media. Theres no independent journalism at present. It is not as though they need to embarrass the establishment.  I put it to readers that theyve chosen to do so. So who do I mean by they and the perpetrators?  There are a number of candidates competing for this position, with their drug company accomplices, several of whom are named in Paula Jardines excellent five-part series for TCW, Anatomy of the sinister Covid project. High on the list is the enabling World Economic Forum and their many political acolytes including Justin Trudeau and Jacinda Ardern. But that doesnt answer the question why are they focusing on the genesis of the virus. In my view, they are doing their darnedest to make sure you regard this event exactly as they want you to. Specifically, that there was a novel virus. Im not alone in believing that myself at the beginning of the pandemic, but over time Ive seen sufficient evidence to cast strong doubt on that idea. Additionally, when considered as part...

May 2023 Astrology Through Dates Listen To Your Intuition "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

We begin in the depths of the Eclipse Portal in May 2023. Eclipses are highly transformative events that mark the transition from one chapter of our lives to the next.

Mercury and Pluto will also be retrograde for the majority of the month, indicating a period of introspection. The fact that these two powerful retrogrades are occurring during the Eclipse Portal feels like a message from the Universe to go within, slow down, and truly digest and integrate the energies that are unfolding. On May 16, Jupiter exits fiery Aries and enters grounded Taurus. Jupiter spends about 12 months in each zodiac sign, so its movement is said to reflect the years theme.
Jupiter in Taurus will shine a light on our finances, the financial industry, and our sense of self-worth. Taurus is also associated with indulgence, abundance, and consistent growth. Because Jupiter is the planet of expansion, all of these themes can be amplified by this new placement. The magical Silver Gate Portal is then activated by the Sun aligning with the Royal Star, Aldebaran, at the end of the month. Aldebaran represents intelligence and our higher mind. It can boost our third eye and assist us in downloading new information. Aldebaran is also thought to be the final resting place for souls before their new incarnation on Earth. May 2023 is a power month that will most likely be a watershed moment for many of us. Listen to your intuition and follow it. Allow it to be your guide as you navigate the month ahead. I trust myself is a powerful mantra you can use. Lets now look at the months important dates.

A Torrent Of Layoffs! Here Are 16 Large Companies That Have Just Announced Mass Terminations "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

by Michael, The biggest companies in the United States are giving the axe to hundreds of thousands of workers, but this should not come as a shock to any of us.  Officials at the Federal Reserve were warned over and over again that they were going to create an extremely harsh economic environment if they aggressively raised interest rates, and that is exactly what has transpired.  We havent seen a tsunami of layoffs like this since 2008 and 2009, and the outlook for the months ahead is extremely bleak. Many of us warned the Fed that it would be mind-numbingly stupid to push interest rates much higher just as we were entering a major economic downturn, but of course the Fed didnt want to listen. We were told that they are the experts and that they knew precisely what they were doing. And now a nightmare scenario is playing out right in front of our eyes. The following are 16 large companies that have just announced mass terminations #1 Tyson: Tyson Foods Inc (TSN.N) will eliminate about 10% of corporate jobs and 15% of senior leadership roles, Chief Executive Donnie King told employees on Wednesday. #2 Lyft: Ride-hailing app Lyft will lay off 1,072 employees, roughly 26% of its corporate workforce, and wont hire for an additional 250 positions, the company said in an SEC filing Thursday. #3 Deloitte: Deloitte will cut around 1,200 jobs or 1.5% of its U.S. wo...

Scientists Say Theyve Got A Blueprint For Creating A Wormhole In A Laboratory Setting "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Yall, as a child of the 90s, I will forever quote Ian Malcolm from Jurassic Park when he says that the scientists there were so preoccupied wondering if they could do something they didnt stop to wonder whether or not they should.

Breaking Blind: Antipsychotic Drug Efficacy May Be Overestimated "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

A new study in BMJ Mental Health found that antipsychotic drug researchers rarely bother to assess whether they successfully blinded participants and researchers in their studies. Worse, in all four trials in which blinding was assessedout of 188 total studiesthe blind was broken.

According to the researchers, There remains suspicion that treatment effects of antipsychotics for schizophrenia may be overestimated unless the trials are properly blinded.

The study was led by Aran Tajika at Kyoto University Graduate School of Medicine.

The double-blind, placebo-controlled trial is the mainstay of evidence-based drug assessment. In this type of study, a drug is compared to a placebo, and neither the researcher nor the research participant knows whether the participant is receiving the drug or the placebo. If the blind is brokenmeaning that the researcher or the participant (or both) have guessed whether the participant received the active drugthis can lead to overestimating the power of the drug. Researchers and participants are more likely to note an improvement if they believe the participant received the active drug.

Blinding of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) is very important for the accurate assessment of drug efficacy. Without proper blinding, the effect of the intervention may be overestimated, Tajika et al. write.

Just conducting a supposed double-blind trial is not enough, according to Tajika et al. It is also important that the blind is actually successful. One of the easiest ways to break the blind is when researchers and participants notice that they have experienced drug side effectsa big clue that they are receiving the active drug.

For this reason, its crucial for researchers to assess whether the blind was broken in their study. Its easy to do soat the end of the study, you ask the researchers and participants whether they received the drug or the placebo....

Nature editors retract influential cancer paper with unreliable data "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The paper, The hypoxic cancer secretome induces pre-metastatic bone lesions through lysyl oxidase, was first published in May 2015 and has been cited 352 times, according to Clarivates Web of Science

This marks the second retraction for corresponding author Janine Erler, a professor in cancer biology at the University of Copenhagen. Heres What PEPE And SHIB Have In Common, But Can It Catch Up To Shiba Inu? "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The meme coin PEPE is currently experiencing a spectacular rise that hardly any other altcoin, apart from Shiba Inu, has experienced. Within just two weeks, the meme coin, which is based on a cartoon character created by Matt Furie back in 2005, has (almost) broken into the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap. At press time, PEPE was ranked #101.

And as on-chain analytics platform Nansen shared in a recent analysis, the two meme coins share other similarities: namely, numerous holders. According to Nansen, PEPE has more than 54,000 holders after just two weeks. While this sounds impressive, it is still small compared to the 1.3 million Shiba Inu holders.

Every 16th PEPE Holder Also Owns SHIB

It is worth noting, however, that one in 16 PEPE holders also owns Shiba Inu (SHIB). As Nansen analyzed, there are over 3,350 wallets holding both meme coins. So before PEPE can even come close to competing with SHIB, the holder base will have to expand substantially.

An analysis of the largest holders shows that the two exchanges MEXC and Gate hold large amounts of both memecoins. But did you know Wintermute also has 2 contract addresses trading both tokens? notes Nansen.

Wintermute is a leading global crypto market maker that works with the worlds top crypto exchanges and projects to provide liquidity. Wintermute has an estimated on-chain valuation of $230 million, with Arbitrum ($54 million), Optimism ($47 million) and DYDX ($32 million) being the largest holdings.

Nansen also writes, Keep in mind that this wallet holds over $37.8 million in tokens, the majority of which are WETH,...

With the exception of Kara Walkers provocative cut paper narratives, silhouettes havent struck us as a particularly revealing art form.

Perhaps we would have felt differently in the early 19th-century, when silhouettes offered a quick and affordable alternative to oil portraits, and photography had yet to be invented.

Self-taught silhouette artist William Bache traveled the eastern seaboard, and later to New Orleans and Cuba, plying his trade with a physiognotrace, a device that helped him outline subjects profiles on folded sheets of light paper.

Once a profile had been captured, Bache carefully cut inside the tracing and affixed the hollow-cut surrounding sheet to black paper, creating the appearance of a hand-cut black silhouette on a white background.

This Person Wonders What They Owe Their Former Adoptive Mother. The Internet Responds. "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The more we learn about child development and child psychology, the more people are realizing that adoption is not the easy fix, the better way out, or a simple solution when it comes to the appropriate development of the child in question.

OP is a poster child example; after losing their mother around age 5, they were adopted by their stepmother even though they did not want to be, and expressed that opinion clearly.

My former adoptive mother was also my stepmother. She and my father forced the adoption on me against my will when I was 7 because she couldnt have children biologically, my mom was dead and they felt like she deserved the official mother title and a place on my birth certificate.

I never wanted it and begged them not to but was ignored.

They went ahead anyway, and OP never forgave them. They went no contact after they turned 18 and asked their maternal grandparents to adopt them so the original adoption would be null and void.

They even lied and said dad was sick to push the judges hand, because apparently with me saying no, they needed something that would make a judge think it would be in my best interest. So they pretended dad was worried something would get worse and the judge decided it was safer for me.

I never forgave them.

I went no contact 7 months ago when I turned 18.

I asked my maternal grandparents to adult adopt me to erase the original adoption.

Her stepmother/adoptive mother always enjoyed celebrating the US and UK Mothers Day, and when OP wished her grandmother a happy mothers day and thanked her for the adoption, all heck broke loose.

My stepmother is English and ever since I knew her she celebrated both the UK Mothers Day and our Mothers Day. And then around midnight...

Super Convenient Laundry In Building Located In Soul-Chilling Murder Dungeon "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

KINGSTON, N.Y. Local woman Kelly Atkins is frustrated with her current apartment, as the listing promised her access to laundry in the basement of the building without mentioning the fact it is a harrowing pit of terror and despair, confirmed sources terrified to go down there.

It didnt bother me much at first, said Atkins. Like sure, theres only one bare lightbulb fighting off the encroaching darkness, but you kind-of have to expect that a little bit in an older building like this. I really started to freak out when I heard my mom tell me to separate my lights and darks before I wash them, because one, thats a myth, and two, my mom died when I was 10. I guess the worst part, other than the feeling that youre being watched by a serial killer, is the fact that you have to pay for the machines with an app, and of course you dont get cell phone service down there.

David DeLano, the landlord for the building, thinks that his tenants concerns are overblown.

Dont get cell phone service down there? Goddamn spoiled kids and their phones, DeLano said. So what that nobody could reach you and you couldnt call for help if something went wrong down there? And yeah, nobody could hear your cries for help because of how far down the stairs go, but grow up. Back in my day, people didnt baby each other like they do now. Theyre lucky I give em a light bulb at all. I manage a lot of properties in this town, and everyone thinks they need more light, or a bug-free kitchen, or a basement laundry unit that someone didnt die a brutal and hellish death in years ago. Brats.

Spencer Abernathy, a local maintenance man, confirmed that he sees basements like Atkins all the time.

Landlords are always gonna upsell something, Abernathy said. Like, if you see a listing that says the place has a communal space, it means youre sharing it with rats. If it says you have private access to a huge yard it means youve got a door that goes to a patch of dirt and tetanus nails. I own my house, but Id still tell you that it has lots of natural light and fresh air, which just means that I keep my windows open because the previous owner had 15 cats and if I close the windows your eyes will water. Its all about the sell.

At press time, Atkins realized that the weird, leaking trash bag in the corner of laundry room was definitely fucking moving, and got out of there ASAP.

Every The Bouncing Souls Album Ranked "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

The Bouncing Souls almost seem underrated among their peers. Maybe its because theyre from New Jersey and we as a nation have been conditioned from birth to dislike that state. But hey, theres a Six Flags there, so how bad could it be? Anyway, its hard to believe but the Bouncing Souls have 12 studio albums, and were here to tell you the order in which they are good.

12. Volume 2 (2020)

This is technically a studio album, but its really more of a collection of stripped down unplugged versions of songs from earlier releases. Feels almost like one of those Punk Goes Acoustic compilations. Its a nice little curveball, but putting this any higher would feel like ranking a greatest hits album. Thats poser behavior.

Skip it: Ghosts on Boardwalk

11. Ghosts on the Boardwalk (2010)

Guitarist Pete Steinkopf once ranked this album last in an interview, so it seems right to put this one so low. Its not bad. Its just that when youre listening to it youre reminded that you could be playing their other more Pete-approved material instead.

Play it again: I Think That the World
Skip it: Airport Security

Another One Down? First Republic Bank FAILS, FDIC Sells It to JP Morgan "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Author of What to Eat When Youre Broke and Bloom Where Youre Planted online course

It was only 6 weeks ago when the nation was briefly paralyzed with concern as we watched three banks go under, with their deposits under FDIC control. At the time, I wrote that one of the next banks to fail could be First Republic Bank.

And today may be the day that it does unless theres a dramatic last-minute save. If it does fail, it will be the second-largest bank failure in American history.

UPDATE: First Republic has failed. The FDIC has taken control of the deposits and sold the bank to JP Morgan. As per Zero Hedge:

In the end, early on Monday morning, the US unveiled a hybrid solution after all other attempts at a private rescue effort failed one where the FDIC would seize the insolvent First Republic, the 14th largest US bank by assetsmaking it the second biggest bank failure in US history, and immediately sell the bulk of its assets and all of its deposits to JPMorgan after a sham but highly competitive bidding process had taken place over the weekend (one in which virtually nobody wanted to participate as nobody would buy FRC without explicit government backstops, which in the end is precisely what they ended up getting on FRCs IO and CRE loan portfolio) while keeping FRCs toxic Interest-only mortgages to Hamptons billionaires.

According to the FDIC announcement, JPMorgan would assume all of First Republics $92 billion in deposits insured and uninsured, including the $5 billion in deposits gived by JPM to First Republic on March 16. It is also buying most of the banks assets, including about $173 billion in loans and $30 billion in securities.

And the rich get richer.

If you think that your money is safe in the bank, you may want to reconsider. And you may want to do it quickly because just last month, we saw how rapidly the domino effect could take down one after another. (I hold my savings in precious metals. You can learn more here.)

What led up to it?

Quiz: IDLES Lyrics or Something We Said While on Anesthesia "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

British rock band IDLES are known for their raw energy and gruff, in-your-face instrumentals, but its their catchy, chaotic lyrics that toe the line between poetry and just plain gibberish that sets them apart. While fans may consider vocalist Joe Talbot to be a lyrical genius, based on our recent trip to the operating table, we think we are more than qualified to step into his shoes should he ever leave the band. See if you can tell the difference between IDLES lyrics and something we said while on anesthesia.

Crawling hurts, but it works for me
Im alright! Im alright!
Im alright! Im alright!
Im feeling mani-fucking-fique

Answer: IDLES Crawl!
While we did spend a good amount of time crawling around the hospital floor, we did not come up with this one.

You pulled my teeth out
Give em back
You pulled my teeth out
I dont need them
Take two
Take two
Take two
Gotta pay your dues

Answer: Anesthesia.
We werent getting oral surgery, so we arent sure where this one came from but we are glad to report that all of our teeth are accounted for.

Footballs on
All be quiet
Lets sing together
I said be quiet

Answer: Anesthesia
Apparently, we had been watching The Price Is Right but kept referring to it as football for reasons unknown to us.

I got new shoes
Cause I mean business
I mean business
I got new shoes
Cause I mean business
I mean business, uh huh

Answer: IDLES Gram Rock
We arent sure what business Joe Talbot was referring to, but if it involves new shoes it must have been serious.

Coo-coo ca choo-choo
Lay on the tracks
Coo-coo ca choo-choo
The hand bites back
Celebrate!
Celebrate!

Answer: Anesthesia.
According to some very unhappy nurses we did in fact try to bite them, although we have no recollection of this.

Lets seize the day
All hold hands, chase the pricks away
You can do it
You can do it
Yes you can
Woo-hoo!

Answer: IDLES Mr. Motivator
Whoever this Mr. Motivator is, hes much more motivational than half of the motivational speakers weve listened to.

Man up, sit down
Chin up, pipe down
Socks up, dont cry
Drink up, just lie
Grow some balls, he said
Grow some balls

Answer: IDLES Samaritans
While the nurses were telling us to sit down and be quiet, no, this one was not us.

Pick up your hands
Put em on your face
Your face
Its all yours
Your hands

Favorite Bands New Record You Havent Listened To Yet Just Turned 10 "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

PITTSBURGH Local man Jack JJ Jenkins was shocked to find out the new album from his favorite band Deer Stalker just turned 10 years old, which he admitted to still not listening to yet, confirmed unsurprised sources.

Time just moves faster when youre an adult. I swear I blinked and an entire decade has gone by and I really have nothing to show for it, said Jenkins, while patching a hole in a faded OBEY hoodie. It doesnt really seem like its been that long. I mean, I bought their first album after I saw them open for Flypaper Envelope at Smalls and that was only back in 2003. Now that I say it out loud, I guess that was twenty years ago Wow. Ive been working as a part-time door guy at a bar that serves pickled eggs and two-dollar pitchers that whole time. Am I going to die there? This actually hurts to think about.

Jordy Piatik, a founding member of Deer Stalker, claims that many of their biggest fans seem to ignore anything released after 2008.

Were super stoked about the reissue of A Picture of All Your Friends Crashing in a Plane, said Piatik. It wasnt our best seller, but its one were very proud of. A lot of people dont know this, but weve actually released four albums and three EPs since after the first Obama term. Bret and I also started a synth band called Deer Witch, and we put out another two albums with that project as well. All told, weve put out more records since people stopped paying attention to us than many bands do in their whole career. Im not bitter or anything, I just think its weird when our audiences go batshit for our old songs and fake mumble through anything we did after 2010.

Record Store Day co-founder and vinyl enthusiast Deirdre Ohare helped usher in the era of deluxe reissues of albums no one thought were that important.

I love bringing forgotten gems back to life, said OHare. But more than that, I love making aging hipsters become aware of their creeping mortality. Nothing scares the shit out of you more than when that sell-out record of your favorite band gets the double-digit anniversary treatment. Im talking double gatefold, essay liner notes written by Chuck Klosterman, and a big shiny sticker on the plastic that says Ten years of your life have slipped away. It really spooks them, and I live for it. Next year Im going to include intake forms for prostate exams with any reissue of an album from the aughts.

Also scheduled for release next month is the twentieth-anniversary edition of the Wes Anderson movie you thought was lame but never watched.

With a whopping 110% increase from 110,000 followers in 2010 to approximately 230,000 by the end of 2022, Islam is making its mark in a country where it once had little presence. What's behind this remarkable growth? Two key factors come into play: a surge in immigration from Muslim-majority countries and an increase in marriages between Muslims and ethnic Japanese. As Japan's population dwindles, the demand for foreign workers is set to rise, opening the door for even more growth in the Muslim community. With a younger demographic than other groups in the country, the future looks bright for second and third-generation Japanese Muslims. And with half of Muslims in Japan being married, the likelihood of this would further increase, coupled with other factors such as low anti-Muslim sentiment in Japan and curiosity among the general public. And guess what? There are now around 90 mosques dotted across the nation, a far cry from the 1980s when mosques were virtually non-existent.

  • Another Iranian Woman Murdered in Forced Hijab Dispute

https://www.atheistrepublic.com/news/another-iranian-woman-murdered-forced-hijab-dispute

Location: Iran

In a shocking turn of events, a woman tragically lost her life in Iran during a heated hijab dispute on April 23rd. A dramatic fight between the country's paramilitary Basij forces and a group of people was caught on camera, quickly going viral on social media. The details of the fight and what led to the woman's death were unclear and subject to debate. Reports suggest that the unnamed woman, who was either 59 or 60, died due to cardiac arrest in the hospital. However, some Iranians suggested that the older woman was beaten, based on footage of the scuffle. Iran International reported that Basij forces ordered women in the group to comply with mandatory hijab rules while visiting a park. When the group refused to obey, a fight broke out...

SOL Price Prediction: Solana Drops But Its Too Early to Say Bulls Have Given Up "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Solana started a downside correction from $24 against the US Dollar. SOL price might start a fresh increase if it stays above the $21.50 support.

  • SOL price is correcting lower from the $24 resistance against the US Dollar.
  • The price is now trading below $23.50 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours).
  • There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $22.50 on the 4-hour chart of the SOL/USD pair (data source from Kraken).
  • The pair could start a fresh increase if it stays above the $21.50 support.

Solana Price Remains Supported

This past week, Solanas price formed a base above the $20.50 level. SOL started a fresh increase and was able to clear the $21.50 resistance. There was a break above a major bearish trend line with resistance near $22.50 on the 4-hour chart of the SOL/USD pair.

However, the bears were active near the $24 resistance. A high is formed near $23.99 and the price is now correcting gains, similar to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

SOL declined below the $23.50 and $23.00 levels. There was a drop below the 50% Fib retracement level of the upward move from the $20.39 swing low to the $23.99 high. It is now trading below $23.50 and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours).

SOL Price Prediction

On the upside, immediate resistance is near the $22.50 level. The next major resistance is near the $23 zone and the 100 simple moving average (4 hours). A close above the $23 level could resend the price toward the $24 resistance zone. Any more gains might send the price toward the $25 level.

More Losses in SOL?

If SOL fails to clear the $23 resistance, it could continue to move down. Initial support on the down...

When Is It OK For A Kid To Tell Parent Hard Truths? The Internet Responds "IndyWatch Feed Allcommunity"

Many people have this idea in their heads that children should show their parents respect simply because theyre their parents.

There are all kinds of parents, though, and once children become adults, do the rules still apply?

OP is the oldest child, and her father largely raised her because her mother was busy building her own career.

I (18f) am my moms (41f) first and oldest child. She and my dad werent together and I lived with him from a very young age because she was busy with her career.

So, while she was around for my younger years, she wasnt as present as she told me she wouldve liked to be.

Now her mother is remarried to a man OP likes and they have a new child of their own. OP enjoys being a sister, but is realistic about how their relationship will look, given their age gap.

She has a husband(38m). Hes a nice guy, and he treats her like a queen so Im happy shes met him. He and my mom wanted a kid of their own so they ended up having my little brother earlier this year.

I love my brother, and I like spending time with him, but Im very aware that our age gap is going to make a normal sibling relationship a bit unachievable.

Shes also a student, and has been awarded a full-ride scholarship for a study abroad year. Shes thrilled, and her dad and stepdad were excited for her as well her mom, not so much.

I was a dual enrolled college/high school student, so I got my associates the same time I got my HS diploma. The college I transferred to has a study abroad program that I got a full ride scholarship for. Im set to go next year, and Im seriously so excited.

My dad was really happy for me when I told him, and so was my stepdad, but my mom didnt seem all that excited about it.

She thin...
