I was inspired to make this project because I love to garden but have neuropathy in my extremities making it very difficult to get off the ground once there. I have made myself 6 of these and am so pleased that I thought I'd share the pattern. Perfect cuts are unnecessary as long as you are within 1/4 inch you will be okay.

Over the last week, Polkadot (DOT) has had trouble gaining traction, falling by 8.41% from April 30 to May 4. However, the price is trading sideways and there might be a modest recovery next week as investors take advantage of this dip to acquire more DOT.

According to CoinMarketCap, Polkadot ranks #11 among all cryptocurrencies with a current market price of $5.75. Polkadots 24-hour trading volume is up by 29.40% in 24 hours, while its market cap has also gained 1.57% within the same time frame.

Polkadots (DOT) Fear & Greed Index today is 46. This level indicates that bulls are pushing the price up gradually, but the bears are still in their positions. 

Over the last few days, Polkadot (DOT) has been showing some bullish signs; so expect a possible recovery within the next few weeks as investors take advantage of the current momentum.

DOT Price Analysis

Polkadot trades between the 200-day simple moving average and the 50-day simple moving average (SMA). This indicates that the market is in a neutral or consolidation phase.

The price does not trend significantly in either direction. During this phase, traders and investors may use the 50-day and 200-day SMAs as support and resistance levels while trading.

However, if the price exceeds the 50-day SMA, it could indicate a short-term uptrend, giving investors a buying opportunity.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) level of DOT is 41, indicating that its market is heading towards the neutral zone and theres indecision among investors.

But the 24-hour volume indicator shows that the trading activity is gradually growing, which could mean investors are building interest in the coin. This may increase liquidity and potential price movement in favor of DOT.

A new tweet by Coinbase Chief Legal Officer (CLO) Paul Grewal has sparked interest and speculations in the crypto community. The CLO expressed his appreciation to Ripples General Counsel, Stuart Alderoty, for their meeting, stating they needed to meet more often.

In response, Stuart Alderoty thanked him for chatting with their legal team. After the tweet, two top lawyers in the community supported the strategic meeting, and some others called on Coinbase to relist XRP on its marketplace. 

Ripple And Coinbase OfficlainsLeading The Battle, Deaton

One of the notable reactions to the meeting between Ripple and Coinbase CLOs came from CryptoLaw founder John Deaton. 

Deaton is the attorney representing thousands of XRP holders. His response to the tweet was that the picture shows two valiant General Counsels leading the front line in battle. Further, Deaton wrote that he tipped his cap to Alderoty and Grewal to express his respect. 

By saying frontline in battle, Attorney Deaton reiterates his position that the crypto industry is battling with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Notably, the attorney shared a tweet to that effect in March, calling every stakeholder in the industry to meet and share strategic ideas to win the war. 

Following the recent tweet, the two firms battling SECs lawsuit may have listened to Deatons suggestion. 

Another prominent figure that responded to the recent development was the Australian-based lawyer Bill Morgan. The lawyer stated that teamwork against a common foe is the best strategy to win. 

However, Morgan further said he doesnt regard Coinbase as a friend of XRP holders as it ceased secondary market trading in its exchange. 

Crypto Users Call For XRP Relisting

Other responses following the recent tweet were calls for Coinbase to relist XRP. A Twitter user going by Jon Mann, who responded, asked Coinbase to relist XRP, stating that the meeting is the tag team the Ripple community has been waiting to see.

Cardano (ADA) is trading below yesterdays closing price as it exhibits price volatility. This price drop comes despite the fact that its trading volume increased by over 26% in the last 24 hours. 

ADA has now lost its earlier gains in the past week, dropping from $0.4028 on April 29, 2023, to $0.3974 on April 30. Currently, it is trading in the $0.3926 range. Its past price behavior suggests it will likely recover from the bearish trend.

Fortunately, Cardano retains most of its gains in 2023, moving from $0.248 on January 1, 2023, to its current price of $0.3922 at press time.

ADA Price Analysis

ADA is experiencing price volatility today, forming a red candle on the daily chart. The Relative Strength Index is at 47.41 and reflects price neutrality as the bulls and bears battle for control.

Also, ADAs Moving Average Convergence/Divergence (MACD) is below its signal line and shows a negative value. The MACD indicator hints at a possible price drop ahead for the asset since the bears are still active in the market. 

However, ADA is still above its 50-day and 200-day Simple Moving Averages (SMA), a bullish sentiment for the short and long term. The 50-day SMA has correlated with a support level sustaining ADA for the last three days.

Cardanos Developmental Strides Might Facilitate A Rally

Cardanos reputation as a developers hub is rising, with an active community backing the project. Cardano in the Community Digest announced the upcoming Cardano summit in 2023. 

The event will hold in Dubai between November 2 and 4, 2023. It will provide networking opportunities in the community and access to top crypto executives that will speak at the event.

The Nigerian government has just approved a blockchain policy that will facilitate the development of a regulatory framework for the technology. The approval occurred in a May 3 Federal Executive Council meeting. 

Blockchain Adoption Could Impact The Economy Positively

Notably, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim, had presented a memo about the regulatory framework earlier. 

While announcing the approval, the FMCDE cited a PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) report predicting the increasing blockchain adoption and how it will boost the global gross domestic product by 2030. It noted that the global GDP could gain an additional $1.76 trillion from various industries representing about 1.4% of the worlds GDP.

In October 2020, the country released a draft of the blockchain adoption strategy. The document mentioned decentralized ledger and blockchain technology would support the growth of the Nigerian digital economy.

The FMCDE developed the national policy by consulting stakeholders in the private and public sectors. The creation of the policy conforms to the seventh pillar of the national digital economy policy and strategy, with the major focus of the policy being on growing global innovative technologies and digital society. 

Importance Of The New National Policy

The main purpose of the new policy is to create a  blockchain-based economy suitable for digital activities in the country. It will ensure secure transactions, value exchange, and data sharing among individuals, companies, and the government. Also, the policy will impact the public and private sectors in the country positively.

Blockchain adoption strategy in Nigeria cuts across several pathways and initiatives. These include the establishment of a consortium for blockchain, fostering digital identity, and developing a national blockchain sandbox for piloting and testing.

Also, the strategy will involve the creation of blockchain business incentive programs, advancing digital awareness and literacy of blockchain technology, and building a robust regulatory and legal framework....

War-mongering Joe Biden who is barely legible half the time has threatened North Korea. He says that if Kim Jong-Un initiates a nuclear attack, that would result in the end of the totalitarian regime.

A nuclear attack by North Korea against the United States or its allies or partners is unacceptable and will result in the end of whatever regime were to take such an action, Biden told reporters at the White House.

Speaking alongside Biden,  South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol added thatsustainable peace on the Korean peninsula does not happen automatically. We can achieve peace through the superiority of overwhelming forces and not a false peace based on the goodwill of the other side, Yoon said, adding that in the event of a nuclear attack from the north, the United States and South Korea would respond swiftly, overwhelmingly and decisively using the full force of the alliance, including US nuclear weapons.

This rhetoric sounds alarmingly like the war is peace quote by George Orwell in his infamous book, 1984.

During a conference in Moscow, former Russian president Dmitry Medvedev warned that the world is sick and quite probably is on the verge of a new world war. Medvedev, who is a close ally of current President Vladimir Putin, made the comments amid rising tensions between Russia and the West over the formers special military operation in Ukraine.

Medvedev says that the threat of this war escalation further is a much more immediate threat than the mythological climate change.

In my opinion, [climate change] is nothing compared to being in the epicenter of an explosion with a temperature of 5,000 Kelvin, a shockwave of 350 meters per second, and a pressure of 3,000 kilograms per square meter, he said. This [threat] exists today, unfortunately. Its growing every day for known reasons. The Western world was unfair to our country to a large extent. Did they hear us? No, they didnt. They simply mocked us all these years, wearing us down.

I cannot say what the last straw, what the trigger may be, but it may happen at some point, he added. We all need to work to ensure that this threat of a global confrontation, of a hot, full-scale World War III should not materialize.

Robert Irwin Recreates Childhood Photo of Him and His Late Father Steve Irwin

Looking back at old photos can remind us of fond memories as well as stir up many emotions. Robert Irwin recently shared a carousel of pictures on his Instagram, one of which shows him as a toddler sitting on his late father Steve Irwins lap in an old utility vehicle. Although it has been 17 years since Steve's passing, the nostalgic car was never sold, as Robert recreates the precious photo as a grown young man without his father in the next slide.

The 19-year-old conservationist has a deep attachment to Steve's old car, fondly called ute as an abbreviation for a utility vehicle. My dad's uteit's a special car. From early memories when Dad would park and let me pretend to drive, to more recently when I took my driver's test in it (and somehow managed not to stall it), he says. Rep. Duncans letter to the FDA requesting the public hearing echoes many of the issues and questions weve been raising for the last few months regarding the FDAs attack on nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), a NAD precursor that is on the cutting edge of anti-aging research. To protect access to affordable NMN, we must continue sending messages to Congress urging them to rein in the out-of-control FDA.

Were delighted Rep. Duncan is leading the charge on this issue, as it is a critical one for health-conscious consumers. Whats at stake is our ability to turn back the clock on our age using natural supplements. Recall that the FDA has said that NMN is not a legal supplement because it was studied as a drug before it was sold in or as a supplement. This means that, technically speaking, the FDA could clear the market of NMN supplements, as it did a few years ago to pyridoxamine supplements under similar circumstances. This hasnt happened yet, but it could at any time.

To recap how we got here: there is a backchannel at the FDA that allows drug companies to monopolize supplement ingredients. For supplements that are considered new under the lawthat is, they werent sold in or as a supplement before 1994companies must submit a notification to the FDA with studies to prove that it is safe before that ingredient can be marketed. This is the deeply problematic new dietary ingredient (NDI) notification process that we have written about extensively over the years. But heres the issue: if a drug company files an Investigational new drug application (IND) and studies that ingredient before the FDA receives an NDI notification on it, it can no longer be sold as a supplement. This, of course, creates a stacked deck in favor of Big Pharma, which can sit on confidential INDs for years while the supplement industry builds up a market for an ingredient before swooping in with their IND, kicking out the supplement competition, and creating a monopoly.

A new book edited by Luce Lebart and Marie Robert and published by Thames & Hudson explores the work of more than 300 women, many of whom were underrecognized during their lifetimes, and all of whose practices centered around the camera.

Recently translated from French by Ruth Taylor and Bethany Wright, the hefty A World History of Women Photographers is a corrective encyclopedia highlighting those with outsized impacts on the medium. The 504-page book pairs hundreds of images with text by an international roster of 160 women writers, granting similar space to each photographer and unearthing a chronically undervalued group. With this collection of artists, it is not so much a matter of producing a counter-narrative or of deconstructing histories that already exist but of completing them. We have no desire to burn idols or topple statues, only to erect new ones, and to create a narrative that is richer and more fair, the editors write in the introduction. Bitcoin has surged above the $29,000 mark following the Fed rate hike of 25 bps, a sign that the asset may be decoupling from the stocks.

Bitcoin Has Jumped Despite Fed Interest Rate Hike Announcement

According to the on-chain analytics firm Santiment, the cryptocurrency market has shown some promising rise potential since the rate hike announcement has gone live.

In the past year, the US Federal Reserve System (Fed) interest rate hikes have generally been met with panic in the market, as coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum have suffered significant hits to their prices following them.

This has been because the sector has experienced a high correlation with the US stocks during this period, meaning that the prices of the assets in the two sectors have been moving in a similar fashion.

Recently, however, things have been changing for the better, as the cryptocurrency and stock markets have become increasingly separated. The initial reaction in the prices of assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum to the latest announcement has also been a positive indication of this.

Here is the comparison between BTC, ETH, and S&P 500 that Santiment posted one hour after the FOMC meeting:

As displayed in the above graph, S&P 500 fell shortly after the rate hike, while BTC and ETH remained steady, showing the disconnection between the two sectors.

Both Bitcoin and Ethereum have risen in the hours since then, breaking the $29,000 and $1,900 levels, respectively. This could be a sign that investors are at ease now that the meeting is behind them.

At least for now, it seems that the initial reaction to this interest rate hike was: At least its over with now. Crypto no longer needs to worry about fiscal policy until June, notes Santiment.

On-chain data also shows that the trading volumes of the top cryptocurrencies by market cap have trended up since the meeting, an indication that activity has been increasing in the sector.

Bitcoin 2023 will host Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who recently defended Bitcoin mining after the Biden Administration proposed a 30% tax on its energy usage.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is set to make his first appearance as a U.S. Presidential candidate at the Bitcoin 2023 conference in Miami, happening May 18-20. In a recent statement, Kennedy expressed his support for Bitcoin and denounced President Biden's proposed 30% tax on cryptocurrency mining, stating that it is a mistake for the U.S. government to stifle innovation in the industry.

Kennedy also addressed concerns over the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining, stating that the energy usage argument is overstated and that Bitcoin mining consumes about the same amount of energy as video games. He believes that the environmental argument is being used as a pretext to suppress anything that threatens elite power structures, including Bitcoin.

In addition, Kennedy has argued that tight control of cryptocurrencies to prevent their use by criminals is not the solution. He pointed out that dissidents and ordinary citizens also need privacy and that governments often control bank accounts and payment platforms to crush dissent. Kennedy believes that until trust is restored in government, cash and bitcoin are needed to ensure freedom.

Kennedy also spoke about the importance of having a diverse ecology of currencies, rather than just a single, centrally controlled one. He believes that just as a biodiverse ecosystem is more resilient, so too will our economy be more resilient with a diversity of currencies.

Previously, Kennedy had said that there "is a misunderstanding" from critics who claim Bitcoin's energy usage is a bad thing, and that Americans need Bitcoin "to ensure freedom."

But what exactly does burn rate mean in the context of cryptocurrencies?

In simple terms, the burn rate refers to the amount of tokens that are permanently removed from circulation. When a cryptocurrency burns tokens, they are essentially destroyed, which can have the effect of increasing the value of the remaining tokens. 

In the case of Shiba Inu, the massive surge in burn rate is an indication that more tokens are being removed from circulation than ever before, which could potentially lead to a supply shortage and a subsequent increase in value.

Based on the data presented, the Shiba Inu ecosystem is experiencing exponential growth in the number of total transactions, resulting in a significant transfer of 2,254,093,318 SHIB tokens to inactive or dead wallets overnight.

The sudden transfer of tokens to dead wallets is believed to be a response to the rapid surge in transaction activity within the ecosystem.

The data highlights two specific addresses that were responsible for a large portion of the transaction volume. One address was used to burn 2,005,265,274 SHIB tokens, effectively removing them from circulation permanently.

The other address burnt 246,743,138 SHIB tokens, contributing to the overall reduction in circulating supply.

Where Shiba Inu Stands Right Now

At the time of writing, the price of SHIB on CoinMarketCap stands at $0.00001005, with a 24-hour rally of 0.83%, while experiencing a decline of 2.37% over the last seven days.

Bitcoin prices might be firmer when writing on May 4, rallying above $29,000 and breaking above local resistance levels in lower time frames. But the Mean Transaction Size, based on the 7-day moving average, is at a 3-year low, according to Glassnode, a blockchain analytics firm.

Bitcoins Mean Transaction Size Crashing

The Mean Transaction Size relays the average transaction size over a given period. It can be used as a lead to gauge the level of activity. Typically, the higher the demand for BTC, the better the prices.

Considering the decentralized nature of public networks, including Bitcoin, transactions are packed in blocks before being confirmed and added to the longest chain. 

The size of each Bitcoin block is fixed at 1 MB; therefore, the number of transactions that can be packed in a block directly depends on the size of each transaction. On average, BTC transactions can be between 300 and 400 bytes. Coupled with the set transaction processing time of roughly 10 minutes, transaction sizes, and by extension, the block size cap, directly impacts the networks throughput.

A notable observation is that the mean transaction size in Bitcoin has been rapidly falling over the past few weeks. There was a sharp expansion from late January 2023 when the mean transaction size rose from around 590 to 1,195 in mid-February.

It then see-sawed in the following weeks, falling from 1,192 in late March to 820 in early April. It crashed to 467.949 on May 2, the lowest in three years.

You kind of have to give no fucks at a certain point because people need you, but then you have to hear shit like, Hey good thing Im getting this filling today, so you can make your boat payment. when in actuality, you are getting paid $182 for that filling on a child while the mother is crying in the corner in worry, which barely pays the overhead of running a practice, while you have $500,000 in student loans. You do a good job, and then the parent says, Lets get out of this horrible place.

Adults say to me, I hate the dentist. and I say, well, I am a pretty nice person. and then they say, Oh not you, just I hate everything you do.

The world is less tolerant of discomfort, and I think dentists need to use more sedation for treatment. But then people wont want to pay $500 for it. so..they will still hate us.

U.S. authorities rejected multiple people who sought compensation for COVID-19 vaccine injuries, despite diagnoses from doctors, documents show. Letters from U.S. officials reviewed by The Epoch Times show officials contradicting doctors who treated patients as they turned down requests for payment. Cody Flint, an agricultural pilot, was diagnosed by four doctors with a severe adverse reaction to Pfizers COVID-19 vaccine. Shortly after being vaccinated, Flint experienced intense head pressure, which led to problems such as perilymphatic fistula, the doctors said. Flint sent a slew of medical files, including evidence of the diagnoses, to the U.S. Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), which compensates people who prove they were injured by a COVID-19 shot. But administrators for the program rejected Flints application in a denial letter, saying they did not find the requisite evidence that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination caused the conditions from which he suffers. The incredible price rally of the meme coin PEPE continues. According to Coingecko data, the frog token has risen to become the third most popular meme coin, behind Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), with a market cap now at $688.5 million, leaving FLOKI behind. In the ranking of all cryptocurrencies, PEPE is now ranked #73, while FLOKI is ranked #123 ($332.5 million market cap).

Remarkably, PEPE initially retreated to $0.0000008383 yesterday, but since then the price has skyrocketed more than 112% at times, hitting a new all-time high at $0.000001794. The brutal price move is likely due to a short squeeze, as tweeted by the data tracking platform Laevitas.

Funding rates are a measure of the payments that futures traders have to make to keep their positions open. If the funding rate is negative, it means that traders with short positions are required to pay the funding rate to traders with long positions. The opposite is true for positive funding rates.

PEPEs funding rates were extremely negative before the short squeeze. This means that short positions were dominant, which showed the dominance of bearish positions in the derivatives market. Meanwhile, the spot market was strong.

Often, however, the market tends to do the unexpected. When the overwhelming majority is bearish, it is easy to wipe out liquidity, especially for larger players or market makers. This is especially valid for smaller coins with low liquidity and a comparably small user base. PEPE still only has 80,000 total addresses.

Trader @htltimor added that some shorts are being chased like theres no tomorrow. Its fun (and was extremely predictable), says the trader, who shared the chart below and shared another piece of advice:

You can *sometimes* try the stochastic < 20 on new coins in a lower TF (i.e. 1h) and if it coincides with RSI oversold and logical levels and patterns and volume profile, you can take a punt. Did not do that myself, as I dont trade meme coins.

Does Bitcoin need progressives?

The simple answer to this question is no, Bitcoin doesnt need progressives. We can all quote the memes by heart: Bitcoin doesnt care. Tick tock, next block. Bitcoin is inevitable. Bitcoin cant be regulated. I believe each of these mottos are true, in their own ways, in the long term. But recently, I have devoted a lot of energy to answering the converse of this question, namely: Do progressives need Bitcoin?

My book answers this more intricate question thoroughly in the affirmative. And while its easy to conclude, with confidence, that Bitcoin doesnt need progressives, it might be interesting to consider why you should care at all that Im on a mission to orange pill as many progressive liberals as I can. Its true that Bitcoin doesnt care. But I think you should.

Shortening The Long Run

As clear as it is to me that Bitcoin will ultimately succeed, it is also clear that the support of liberals and those on the left of the political spectrum, while not an absolute necessity, is important nonetheless. Even if Bitcoin is inevitable in the long run, there is an awful lot of time between now and the end of that long run. That time can be filled with growing adoption, innovation and promoting freedom money across the planet. Or that time can be filled with political fighting at every level of every government across the globe. Plenty of people reading this may not care, or they may even welcome the fighting. But in the long run, Ill be dead and the world would be a better place if more people understood and used Satoshi Nakamotos innovation before my stack of corn gets passed along to my children.

This is not only true, but actually an important property of all good money. It all started when someone over on Reddit asked people to share their stories of dumb things they got in trouble for at school, and they didnt get much more outrageous than this tale, which has just gone wildly viral all over again.

And it got people sharing stories of when they witnessed something similar and its a fascinating and most eye-opening read.

Completely different, but I took a poetry class in college and witnessed a pretty crazy incident of plagiarism. There was a women in my class who was a talented writer, shes doing a reading during the last few days of the semester, when all of a sudden, the professor stops her.

Apparently another woman in one of her other classes had read and turned in the exact same poem. The woman in my class was obviously flustered, but she gathered herself and explained that she had drafts she could show and that she had posted the poem to her somewhat popular but anonymous twitter account.

Turns out the student in the other class followed this account, and obviously did not realize the author was from the same university, let alone in the same writing program and class.

It was his list of sources. The program recognized the book titles as direct quotes and said it is plagiarism. The school refused to regrade it until his parents threatened to sue the school.

I got accused of plagiarism in high school. It was for a french immersion writting project. I asked my teacher to show me where I copied from and she just said she couldnt provide proof but knew I copied because there were no errors in my text.

Is Newsweek joining the ranks of ABC News in deciding that Robert Kennedy Jr.s views shouldnt be heard?

While ABC News openly admitted censoring Kennedys remarks about the vaccine makers and dangerous vaccine side effects during a recent interview by Linsey Davis, Newsweek was more subtle in their coverage.

Newsweeks James Bickerton didnt actually interview Kennedy. Instead he set out to discredit him for his position on vaccines, and he included numerous experts and others who called Kennedy dangerous for peddling false information.

At the end Bickerton also insinuated that giving Kennedy a public voice might lead to more people questioning vaccine safety. He had experts raising a alarm about the danger of letting Kennedy speak.

Reporters like Bickerton are a clear sign of the end of free speech and a free press in America. The corporate controlled media will decide what were allowed to hear. That is the hallmark of the totalitarian state.

If you see a pie chart projected twelve feet high in front of you, you know youre in the hands of an idiot. These words have stuck with me since I heard them spoken by Edward Tufte, one of the most respected living authorities on data visualization. The latter-day sins of pie-chart-makers (especially those who make them in PowerPoint) are many and varied, but the original sin of the pie chart itself is that of fundamentally misrepresenting one-dimensional information a company budget, a citys population demographics in two-dimensional form.

Yet the pie chart was created by a master, indeed the first master, of information design, the late-eighteenth- and early-nineteenth-century Scottish economist William Playfair. Tufte includes Playfairs first pie chart, an illustration of the land holdings of various nations and empires circa 1800, in his book The Visual Display of Quantitative Information.

When were little, we all love dinosaurs. Theres something magical about these giant, sometimes scary beasts who no longer exist almost as if we make them into anything we want in our imagination.

Of course, scientists are always coming along and telling us the truth of the matter like with this dinosaur, whose claws look absolutely ferocious.

According to paleontologists, though, they actually werent.

The dinosaur in question is the Therizinosauraus, a therapod that lived during the late Triassic and Cretaceous periods. It roamed the early 220-66 million years ago, and at 40 feet long with three-foot-long claws, it looks like it would have been a dino to reckon with.

Scientists say it was more of a gentle giant, letting its scissor-like hands do the majority of the talking.

The Bitcoin and crypto markets are up today, despite the fact that the initial reaction to yesterdays FOMC of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) was rather bearish. During the meeting, the Bitcoin price dropped from $28,800 to $28,250 as the market reacted to the extremely hawkish comments made by Jerome Powell.

The Fed Chairman avoided confirming that yesterdays rate hike was the last one in this cycle, despite multiple requests from journalists. He also stressed that there is no room for rate cuts this year in the Feds current scenarios. On the other hand, in its rate hike statement, the Fed omitted the earlier remarks that announced further hikes.

Why Is Bitcoin And Crypto Up Today?

The fact that Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are rising today is likely due to the fact that despite all of Powells efforts, the market is expecting a pivot, that is, a pause in rate hikes at the next FOMC meeting on June 14.

The reason: In March, the majority of FOMC participants said that the final rate for this tightening cycle would be between 5% and 5.25%, which is exactly where the fed funds rate arrived yesterday. The CMEs FedWatch tool shows that an overwhelming 99.2% currently expect a pause in June.

More than 85% expect the first rate cut as early as September. In total, the market currently expects at least three rate cuts (to 4.25 to 4.5 basis points) by year-end.

And even JP Morgans Davis believes that this is definitely the end of the hiking cycle for the Fed. The representative of the largest U.S. bank by deposits also believes a Fed rate cut could come as early as September.

The projections are extremely bullish for Bitcoin and crypto, as risk assets traditionally benefit the most from a dovish monetary policy as more liquidity is pumped into the financial system. On the other hand, Bitcoin investors may have once again reacted to the deepening banking crisis in the US.

You may have heard the term BRICS when reading about world affairs and wondered what it was all about. As we watch the American dollar and economy lose power on the world stage, this alliance could quickly move to take its place, especially as other countries that used to be allied with us move over this bloc.

As a matter of opinion, I think that on the global stage, BRICS is a union we should watch, as there are several large economic powers involved that arent exactly friends of the United States of America. Should this group continue to grow, its possible that it could dramatically affect us with regard to world trade. And thats at the very least.

Lets look a little deeper into it.

What is BRICS?

BRICS is an economic alliance that has been around since about 2001. Jim ONeill from Goldman Sachs coined the acronym BRIC to represent the original countries: Brazil, Russia, India, and China. By 2010, South Africa had been added, bringing us to the current acronym. ONeill predicted that by 2050, the original four nations would be the dominant forces in the global economy. Investopedia explains:

Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa ranked among the worlds fastest-growing emerging market economies for years, thanks to low labor costs, favorable demographics and abundant natural resources at a time of a global commodities boom.

Its important to note that the Goldman Sachs thesis wasnt that these countries would become a political alliance (like the EU) or even a formal trading association. Instead, Goldman said they have the potential to form a powerful economic bloc, even acknowledging that its forecasts were optimistic and dependent on significant policy assumptions.

Still, the implication was that economic power would bring political power, and indeed leaders from BRICS countries regularly attended summits together and often acted in concert with each others interests.

Interest faded in the BRICS countries by around 2015, as per Investopedia. But does that mean we should write them off, too?

Khanewal district police spokesperson Chaudhry Imran reported that the sexual abuse occurred on April 29th, when the boys uncle arrived at his nephews school to visit him, only to find that a cleric was raping him in the schools side room while another cleric waited for his turn.

The uncle filed a report against the two Muslim clerics, accusing them of sexually abusing his 10-year-old nephew in the seminary where he had been studying since last year.

Imran said police arrested the two clerics after an initial investigation. He also said the boy was sent to the local hospital, where he was treated for physical injuries and trauma.

The identities of the two suspects were not revealed. Police also did not allow reporters to seek comment regarding the two clerics, mentioning an ongoing investigation. However, authorities said the two suspects had not found legal representation yet.

If we could take a pill that rested us, wed have another 8 hours in our day for employers to exploit. Wed be expected to work 12-16 hours since we dont need sleep anymore places would staff less people because they could just make their crew work all three shifts.

Anyone who thinks Yeahhh! Bonus time :D Is incredibly naive. If this ever came to pass, all that would happen is the working class would be expected to work even more for less.

Well, you can work for 12-16 hrs a day now, so obviously we dont need to increase minimum wage you can simply work more hours if you want food and shelter!
